Introduction

[edit]

TougeMistro is a British bloke from Lincolnshire who, outside of the internet, is know as Thomas Miles. He was born in Surrey but has spent most of his life in Lincolnshire, where he still resides today in the market town of Sleaford. He spends most of his time gaming and on the internet researching his various hobbies and is currently 17 years of age.

Early Life

[edit]

Thomas spent his early life in Camberley after his birth on June 29th 1999. He continued to live there for 1 year before moving to Lincolnshire.

Education and School Life

[edit]

TougeMistro is currently student at the local sixth form where he studies BTEC Applied Science Double Award and BTEC Photography Single Award, both as a level 3 subject. He is currently in full time education and spends around 11 hours each week in lessons.

His early education was at a local pre-school, in the north side of the town, where he would various people he would grow up around for the rest of his known life, although they would grow apart shortly afterwards due to a split when moving into primary education. From an early stage Thomas showed a clear understanding of basic Maths and English.

When moving into primary school at the William Alvey C.o.E school, he and his friends were split into separate classes, allowing for Thomas to create new friendships with other people he felt confident around. He managed to avoid bullying and anti-social behaviour throughout his early school life as he was nothing different from most people, in class he was reserved and well behaved although when outside he could be very boisterous and excitable. He had a love for sports, football in particular, in the early years of primary, from reception to year 3, as the sport kept him occupied, more interested in the possibilities and strategies of the game, as it kept his mind active.

Thomas continued to succeed in Mathematics and English classes although for the duration of his 5th year at primary, year 4, he would fall behind on specific tasks and times tables. He bounced back from this in year 5, quickly becoming one of the year group's best mathematicians alongside a few new friends he had begun to spend time with. These friends massively helped Thomas advance his interest in learning new things as they helped him engage more in lesson as Thomas would frequently daydream and lose focus, although this was not noticed by many people.

During his last year of primary education Thomas completed his SAT papers and his 11+ exam, with his lowest grade on the SATs being a 5b in science, with 5a as the highest possible and his highest result for English and Maths, and passing the 11+ maximising his options for post 11 education. From this he chose to go to the local St George's College of Technology, which later that year was renamed St George's Academy. This was for a multitude of reasons, including the better technology, the planned buildings and the family members currently studying there, 2 brothers.

For his first year in secondary school he struggled to make new friends, and so stuck with a couple friends from primary school, which was beneficial outside of lesson. However, in some lessons Thomas was separated from all of his friends and started to socialise with other people. He started to socialise with more people at higher academic levels and began to focus on improving his mathematical skills, reaching a higher than expected standard at the end of his first year of secondary education. His move to the academy rather than the local Grammar school meant he had to leave 2 of his closest friends who had both decided to move to the grammar. Without these 2 people, his work ethic began to decline as he found himself more and more interested in external focuses.

During year 8 Thomas Miles began to frequently spend time with one of his closest friends, Jacob Steggar, and a few students from the year below. Jacob and Thomas shared many common interests, such as gaming, and were at similar intellectual levels, with Jacob being stronger in some areas, and Thomas in others.
