Devin Williams (born January 28, 1997), better known as Leáfy Trav, is an American rapper from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In September 2017, after releasing his song Slap, Leáfy Trav went viral overnight. Since then, he’s gained a lot of clout on social media. As of now he remains an one of the hottest independent artist in the new school Hip hop community.
Musical style[edit]
Leáfy Trav’s style is much different from the popular Midwest hip hop Detroit/Milwaukee sound popularized by artists such as Tee Grizzley and Gwapo Chapo. He has more of a southern trap feel with a slight Midwest bounce. It’s very unique and stands out compared to other trap music. Leáfy Trav said he doesn’t write any of his music and every track he releases is a freestyle.
Career[edit]
Devin, a college dropout, began rapping at age 11 under the stage name Lil D then later D McTapper then T.R.A.V.I.S, an acronym standing for The Realest Artist Viewed In State, to finally what we all know him today as, Leáfy Trav. In September 2017, he released his first single, Slap. After releasing the single he sparked a lot attention on the internet and gained clout. He’s done projects with other upcoming independent artists on SoundCloud.
