TALHA RIZVI "BARQUE"


Dr. Syed Mohammad Talha Rizvi "Barque"(Urdu : سید شاہ محمّد طلحہ رضوی برق چشتی نظامی )(born January 25, 1941)is Professor in Urdu and Persian language as well as great writer, poet and religious orator. He belongs to a sufi family in Danapur, Patna (Bihar)INDIA.

Syed Shah Talha Rizvi "Barque" is the 21st Sajjadah Nasheen of Khanqah Chishtiya Nezamiya, Shahtoli Danapur Cantt. founded by Hazrat Makhdoom Syed Shah Mubarak Husain Rizvi Chishti Nezami in the year 745 A.H./ 1344 A.D. commonly known as Jadd-e-Ala. Shah MUbarak Husain fonded this school(Khanqah)of Chishtia doctrine of the spritual teaching at Shahtoli Danapur and established his Khanqah with a mosque in its South a graveyard known as Astana-e-Chishtiya Nezamia and in course of time succeeded by a large number of successors. Hazrat Syed Shah Mohammad Qayem Rizvi Qateel father of Syed Shah Talha Rizvi Barque was the 20th successor and Sajjadah Nasheen of Astana-e-Chishtiya Nezamia, Danapur, as follows:

Dr. Talha Rizvi Barque is the founder of Qateel Oriental Library And Research Centre in khanqah Danapur. He is awarded by President of India in 2010 for his special contribution and achievement in Persian Language and Literature. He is the author of several books and attended hundreds of National and International Seminars and Mushaeyra in India, Pakistan,Iran, Saudi Arabia, and England.

His multilingual skills made him prominent among University scholars as he is very fluent in Urdu, Hindi, English, Persian and is learned in Arabic.

Family background

Dr. S.M. Talha Rizvi "Barque" Is the son of well renowned Islamic scholar and poet Hazrat Allama Syed Shah Muhammad Qayem Rizvi "Qateel" Danapuri (Known as Fazil-e-Taurait-o-Injeel)who has written more than fifty islamic books in Urdu and English i.e Muhammad in divine books (English), Qateel's message to the world (English), Masalay-e-marghoob (Urdu), Barah Shahzade, Kufre Yazid, Mishkat-e-Haqeeqat, Tajalliyat-e Qateel (Urdu ghazal collection), Rubaiyat-e-Khaas (Rubayee collection), Saghr-e-Kaif (Persian ghazal collection) etc. Dr. Talha Rizvi's mother also belongs to a great sufi family of Khanqah Mujibia Phulwari Sharif, Patna. She was also a good poetess and written so many Naats, her collection of naats Known as "Gulistan-e-Sukhan-e-Mahmoodah" edited and published by Dr. Talha Rizvi.

Dr. Talha Rizvi is married with Bibi Zaibun Nisa daughter of Shaikh Manzoor Ahsan (Great Zamindaar and famous Businessman of Patna) from Mahuni, Nalanda district and has four sons and four daughters who are Dr.Shah Belal Rizvi, Dr.S.M. Salman Rizvi, Dr.S.M. Junaid Rizvi, S.M. Abuzar Saad Rizvi, Dr.Firdaus Fatima, Dr.Qudsia Fatima, Kazma Khatoon and Sufia Tarannum.
