Timothy Speiss is a partner with Eisner LLP ("Eisner"); he is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist, Registered Investment Advisor, and has a Masters degree in Taxation from Widener University. Tim has completed additional coursework at the Villanova Law School. Eisner provides comprehrensive and objective fee-based domestic and international personal wealth advisory services to individuals, including owners of professional sports teams, senior corporate executives and directors, entrepreneurs and family offices, and other prominent individuals, with a focus on rendering objective investment advisory services and income tax and transfer tax services. Eisner also provides integrated corporate accounting, tax, and advisory services to a broad range of commercial clients including public companies, hedge funds and private equity funds, and other business entities and not-for-profit organizations. Eisner is an independent member firm of Baker Tilly International, a network of 126 independent member firms in more than 93 countries and organized within four global regions. Tim chairs Eisner's Personal Wealth Advisors practice, and the Baker Tilly International Personal Wealth Advisors Network which is comprised of more than 36 firms serving sophisticated clients in over 26 countries. He directly serves clients of the firm and is a frequent speaker and commentator on wealth advisory topics and related capital markets and economic and legislative and regulatory matters. He has lectured in the graduate and undergraduate business school programs at the University of Pennsylvania, Saint Joseph's University, and Drexel University. He is editor of Eisner's periodical "Personal Wealth Advisory Developments." Tim's additional leadership activities include serving as chair of the Widener University School of Business Administration Advisory Council and Bishop McDevitt High School Advisory Board, and as a Trustee of Harlem Academy and the Abingdon Theatre Company, and additional boards and cultural organizations. Tim has been cited as an Oustanding New York Businessperson by a U.S. Congressional subcommittee.
