I'm User:Tyrwh, known in the real world as Tyr Wiesner-Hanks. As of October 2017, I am a PhD Candidate in Plant Breeding & Genetics at Cornell University. My research focuses on Northern Leaf Blight in corn (maize), with projects looking into the genomics/genetics of the pathogen, transcriptomics of pathogenesis, host resistance genes, and aerial photography for high-throughput phenotyping.
