Started at fullback the first five games of the season before moving to middle linebacker for the final six games. In his five starts at fullback he led the way for all-region runningback Winston Thompson, helping him record four of his total five 100-yard games. Forced to move to linebacker midway through the sea- son, McCloud averaged a team-high 10.2 in his six starts at linebacker. Recorded a season-high 17 tackles and one interception against perenial Black College Football National Champions, Tuskegee University. Fin- ished the season second on the team with 65 total tackles, 4.5 for a loss of 11 yards, one fumble recovery, and one interception. 2007: Started 11 games at fullback, leading the way for the conference second leading rusher and second team All-SIAC selection after rushing for 782 yards.
