Bahri Bahar born in BoluTurkey, is a chef with tremendous experience and skill. He has formerly served Bank Askya as the Chief Chef for several years before moving to the Lumina Institution, where he has served over hundreds of students at the several schools with deliciously prepared meals, crafted and prepared by the Chef himself.

Early life

Chef Bahri experienced a modest upbringing in a loving family, within a simple household in Bolu Turkey. He had dreams of becoming a chef from a relatively early age.

The Golden Path

Bahri decided it was time to take matters into his own hands so he set out to build his dream, meal by meal. He started off in the local square where he prepared what would be known as street food. A mix of spices and various flavours had captivated the locals as with each Pita prepared. He would later learn even more about the intricacies of creating food. This fame would not go unnoticed as the locals had recommened Bahri to almost every "Bolunian" and word had even spread beyond to the larger cities, such as Istanbul, Ankara and Erzurum.

Philosophical Views on the Culinary Arts

Bahri had realised from the very start that when preparing a dish, a certain attention has to be given to the details of the provenance and processes of the specific dish. In his Almanac, one can clearly see that within the recipe of each dish, none bear resemblance to one another. He understood that each type of food needs to be treated in a specific way, thus not to disorganise the harmony of said recipe. He is a firm believer in food purity, meaning that once a recipe has been written down, it shall not be altered as to not disturb the original composition.
