The Chernobyl accident was one of the many nuclear accidents that have occurred in the history of man kind, along with the Hiroshima atomic bombing.

the occurrence of the Chernobyl nuclear accident happened back in year 1986 of April 26th

this accident was caused due to poor design in the equipment and when the technicians inside nuclear reactor Unit 4 attempted a poorly designed experiment. They had to shut down the reactor's power and it’s regulating system along with the emergency safety systems, and they removed control rods from its core while allowing the reactor to run at 7 percent power.
