Vinoj was born in Kuruppampady , a place in south indian state of Kerala. He did his schooling at M G M High school Kuruppampady and college education at Sree Sankara College, Kalady. After completing his computer education, he was giving computer training at Millennium computers, Perumbavoor. Also he worked with Keltron -Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited, Trivandrum as apprentice trainee.

Since 2001, he is working in the editorial department of a News Paper Company in Kingdom of Bahrain, Arabian gulf
