Article Evaluation :"Sport in India"

The article that I reviewed was "Sport In India".Reading the context ,it is fairly written from a neutral point of view with adequate emphasis given to each sports in India.Many of the sports that are played are well cited in the article but some of them aren't comprehensively discussed or written. There needs to be some more articulation, discussion and research that need to done such as Karate ,Rowing and Ice hockey.The articles has done one good work from the perspective of categorising the sports traditional versus non traditional ,Olympic versus Non-Olympics.However having said that the article needs to improvise it's structure. Meaning it needs to elaborate more succinctly on the sentences. Looking at the article's relevance from the timeframe ,the article is fairly updated and has mentioned all the events and prizes ,accolades as per the recent time.The article doesn't forget to mention the prime broadcaster for organising and broadcasting these sports on TV.

The article maintains its neutrality despite Cricket being so venerated and glorified in India.The viewpoints shared for each individual sports are fairly balanced and don't distort any fundamental claims.The article fairly mentions the sports being played in India.

From the point of view of sources ,the article has mentioned fairly adequate citation and references for most sports such as Cricket ,tennis but either doesn't provide reference and citation for traditional sports such as Jallikattu (inspite this sports being so contentious from the nature of animal rights) ,Kite flying (this sports is highly participated by people during festival season) ,rowing (despite bring so many laurels at international levels) and even squash??

Looking at the talk page ,the article is rated as B class by the WikiProjects India and WikiProject Sports. There are some good contentious issue being corrected and discussed such as the status of national sports.There was also slight mention of copyright issue being mentioned in which the article forgets to mention the citation from the newspaper in the IceHockey section.Also the editors have conducive discussing the arguments and making the corrective suggestion.Certain editors have also suggested that certain section needs rewriting.One good thing about about the article is that the article has made a disclaimer about the certain words being written differently depending on the geography such as colour ,analyse and many more .
