Gargi Chatterjee (Born 31st January 1975) is a Trade Union activist of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), state committee member of Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) West Bengal. [1] (Facebook Profile)
Biography
[edit]Gargi Chatterji is CPI(M) state committee member and former student leader. She is closely associated with Trade Union politics in Barrackpore industrial belt in West Bengal and member of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU). She contested in State bidhan sabha election from Noapara Assembly seat by-election as a Left Front candidate against TMC’s Sunil Singh in 2018. Currently she is contesting from Barrackpore lok Sabha constituency as a Left Front candidate against TMC's Dinesh Trivedi in parliament election 2019.
