West has worked as a television news anchor at both ABC and NBC in New York.
West is the founder and president of American Fundraising Auctions. He is a licensed auctioneer who travels the country raising funds for non-profit organizations.[2] West is know for providing fun and entertaining auctions.[3] He has helped raise funds for such notable organizations such as The Children Advocacy Center, The Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando and the Animal Rescue Coalition[4][5][6]
West is also the board president for SolgamesUSA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organzation based in Orlando which provides a safe place to learn and play with computers while developing social skills and learning the importance of giving back to the community.[7]

Wade West is married to Barbara West (TV news anchor), a television journalist and news anchor for WFTV in Orlando, Florida.
