I am here to help build and improve Wikipedia. I think Wikipedia is one of the most important things ever done because it collects everything humanity has accomplished and everything we accept to be the truth.
I'm not an expert on much and almost everything I know has already been added to the encyclopedia, but I still think I can help. I spend most of my time removing questionable or subjective material, tagging things that are dubious or confusing, and rewording things.
My general editing policy:
- Neutrality is paramount, but culture cannot be denied
If we were to look at Wikipedia from the point-of-view of a future anthropologist, would they understand things as they were? Everything should be covered with entire objectivity, however, some aspects of opinion are valuable. For example: While it's irrelevant to the value of his plays, it's important to note that Shakespeare was only mildly popular in his own time.
- Information added should be improved, never removed.
