Findings

Wikipedia's admin corps is heavily skewed to very longterm users. Less than 2% of administrators have under two years tenure as editors, and there are still more administrators who started editing in 2002 than there are who started editing in 2007.

Anomalies

1. Admins who have created a new account and had the bit transferred over from their old account are counted in the year their current admin account was created.
2. RFAs and current admins won't tie up as former admins have not been filtered out of the RFAs.
3. There is a discrepancy of 9 between the 1,698 divided by year and the 1707 admins in total that day - as I started calculations at the end these are likely to be early admins. An extract or bot would probably need to be run to get an accurate count.
