Having earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from The New York Film Academy in Los Angeles in 2018, Turk has since delved into both theatre and film. Her prowess in screenwriting was acknowledged in 2022 when she was featured as one of MovieMaker Magazine's screenwriters to watch for her work on "The Grand Bolero" (2021).
In the same year, Turk joined forces with her frequent collaborator Casey-Ann Diepeveen to co-found Holding Thumbs Productions, marking a significant milestone in her career.
