I am an occasional editor of Wikipedia. My interests include how communities and neighborhoods can make better use of Wiki tools and crowd sourced information to improve quality of life issues; improve neighborhood connectivity.

I'm also a founder of the Wireless Harlem Initiative which is working in the Harlem, NYC community to improve access to Internet connectivity, computer availability, while improving access to information. As part of our work to make information freely available for communities and neighborhoods, we've recently connected Wireless Harlem with the local chapter of Wikemedia Foundation Wikimedia NYC and the Free Culture @ NYU group.
