  • Time to revise - about an hour to two hours, including searching for references to Laelius in original sources, rewriting texts, changing links.
  • What was added - notes were changed to references, with extensive comments in some; information on Laelius's activities in Spain and Africa from three ancient sources; information on his probable background as implied from his late appointment as a quaestor.
  • What remains - inspecting other sources; editing text for a smoother flow of text.

• Gnaeus Cornelius Scipio Calvus, consul 222 BC (Scipio's uncle); a draft revision is currently in one of my sandboxes. Little work has been done as yet.
• Publius Licinius Crassus Dives (consul 205 BC) (Scipio's co-consul); a draft revision is currently in one of my sandboxes. No work has been done as yet.

And yes, there is a pattern. I am building up biographies of persons who were politically (and often personally) allied to Scipio Africanus.
