The 2011 Sudan clashes was a cattle raid at a farm in South Sudan, which killed up to 600 people^[1] and injured up to 985, on 18th August 2011^[2] The clashes took place when when members of the Murle group are said to have attacked the majority Lou Nuer, stealing nearly 40,000 cattle.^[3]
