The Teaching Hospital Kurunegala is situated on the Colombo Kurunegala road about 0.75 k.m. away from the city center. Teaching Hospital Kurunegala currently over 100 units with accident and emergency unit [2] and it is one of the largest teaching hospitals maintained by the Sri Lankan Government.
