University of British Columbia Library[edit]

UBC Okanagan library is based in Kelowna, British Columbia. It is a branch of the UBC library based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The UBC Okanagan library has many resources in the to help every student succeed[1]. When students walk into the library there are many study spaces and there is computer access on the first floor. The second floor is dedicated to books and quiet study spaces.

Databases[edit]

The databases are online resources that are specific to academic based articles[2]. Databases at UBC Okanagan can be accessed on and off campus. The databases help student to succeed in course.

Books[edit]

At UBC Okanagan library books can be a huge asset to UBC Okanagan students. The UBC Okanagan library books can be a resource for researching information. There are many types of books at UBC Okanagan. For example, there are scholarly books and causal reading books. Also, the scholarly books can be a more historical resources then other recent online resources. [3]

Technology[edit]

University of British Columbia Okanagan

At UBC Okanagan library technology is a big factor in the library. There are multiple technological resources that can help students succeed. For example, there are printers, photocopier, computers and scanner.

The printer at UBC Okanagan library helps many students. Students have to pay to print their pages in black, white or colour. It is more expensive for students to pay for colour. Also, for scans and photocopy can be access to in the library. [4] There are many computers that students can use on the first floor of the library and student can bring their own and find a quiet place to work.
