Early Life:

William Guzick was born in 1960 and raised in Ohio by loving hard working parents.He is the eldest of six children, and from a young age, he excelled in school and in athletics.He is the eldest of six children, and from a young age, he excelled in school and in athletics.

Education:

William Guzick has always excelled in the classroom.He worked hard in high school, received some partial university scholarships, then entered and paid his way through four years of private business college.He earned a degree in Accounting in 1983, and completed his MBA coursework at the University of Phoenix in 1993.This education served as a good foundation for Bill in his professional career.

Career:

William Guzick moved to Arizona and worked for Motorola’s Government Electronics Group in 1986, and earned a promotion to the company’s Division Management before his 30th birthday.William Guzick has spent over fifteen years working in the electronics industry with various companies. He got his start with Motorola, moved on to work for International Rectifier, and ON Semiconductor, where he is the Director of Strategic Sourcing now.

Family Man:

William Guzick and his wife come from large families, and they were both always taught that family is the most important part of life. Guzick hasn’t lost sight of his teachings, and he works hard to balance his work life with his family life in Chandler, Arizona. He and his wife have three daughters, two of whom start college soon, and one working in a leadership position in the automobile industry.Guzick’s busy career and work schedule over the past fifteen years in the electronics industry hasn’t prevented him from cooking for his family and spending time with them traveling and sharing meals together.

William Guzick is a Certified Cost Estimating/Analyst, have been a member of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM), National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM).
