AEONs. Wheeler introduced in 1956 the concept of GEONs (Gravitational ElectrOmagnetic ENtities) based on the concept that each quantity of mass (or its equivalent energy) generates a gravitational field. Based on the Einstein-Maxwell equations, Wheeler demonstrated in 1956 that a field of high intense electromagnetic radiation generates its own gravitational field that is strong enough to confine its own electromagnetic radiation in a toroidal confinement. In a way comparable to the deflection of a light beam of a far star constellation by the gravitational field of the sun, which is observed e.g. during an eclipse, the gravitational field generated by an intense electromagnetic confinement confines iaccordance with general relativity its own radiation by its own gravity. The dimensions of the GEONs are expressed in light years.
In 2002 Vegt introduced on the basis of the concept of GEONs developed by Wheeler in 1956 the concept of AEONs (Auto confined ElectrOmagnetic ENtities) Media:http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=13917150. In general it is assumed that the electromagnetic interaction for electromagnetic radiation equals zero. E.g. two laser beams will cross each other without any noticeable interaction. This is in general, because there is no coherence between the two beams and the interaction cancels out within a few wavelenghts. However it has been demonstrated that it is possible to deflect a laserbeam by micro-electrodes with the same dimensions of the wavelength of the laser beam where a coherent electromagnetic field has been generated. This ia also the way how radiation is deflected by a lense. Deflection by a lense of a light beam is caused by the electromagnetic interaction between the electromagnetic light wave and the electromagnetic field between the glass molecules.
By taking the divergence of the energy-momentum 4-tensor for electromagnetic fields, one can find the force density in the electromagnetic field. In a stable configuration the force density within the electromagnetic radiation has to be zero at any place at any time. This results in an equation indicated as the dynamic equilibrium equationSchuingedrukte tekst. This dynamic equilibrium equation contains all the well known solutions of the four Maxwell equations but also offers the possibility of a wide range of unknown solutions for any kind of electromagnetic radiation based on electromagnetic interaction. This dynamic equilibrium equation suggests the possibility of toroidal confinements of intense radiation like GEONs but based on electromagnetic interaction instead of gravity and in much smaller dimensions.
