The Triumphal arch in Kiev, was a wooden structure designed by Russian architect Victor Hartmann and installed in 1857, on the site of the modern Vozdukhoflotsky overpass on Povitroflotskyi Avenue, to commemorate the arrival of Emperor Alexander II on January of 31 that year. It was dismantled in the 1890s.
In memory of the event, it was planned to build a stone arch in the same place, however the funds were used to found the Олександрівське ремісниче училище, the craftwork school in the Emperor's name.
