I'm 72 years of age, retired and have a broad range of experiences. I was an Army officer and have had careers in a number of professions including securities, appraisals and valuation, law, marketing and marriage and family counseling. I have two bachelors, a masters and a law degree. I've been collecting pens for over 30 years, with an emphasis on early ballpoint pens. My collection numbers in the thousands and includes almost one thousand examples of Parker Jotter pens, including prototypes, concepts,special editions as well as a number of consumer and unique advertising examples. I have conversed with the owners and founders of seminal ballpoint pen companies, several ex-Parker employees, pen dealers specializing in Parker products and have done a great deal of research on the Jotter over the past thirty years. I welcome any additions or corrections in the spirit of helping other collectors.
