Wolfenoot also known as Hündenacht falls on the 23rd of November every year. Children who are kind to dogs are visited by the Wolf Spirit who scatters small gifts throughout the house as a symbol of the impact small acts of kindness have in the world.

It is the tradition that roast meat it is eaten as the main meal on the evening of the 23rd of November, followed by cakes or cupcakes decorated as the moon. This is to mark the traditional feast of meat that wolfs consume before the full moon.
