Conflict of interest statementWhen I am editing Wikipedia as part of my official professional duties, I always strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. Because the National Archives' educational mission is in line with Wikipedia's mission to disseminate knowledge freely, I will not make edits that I do not believe are in accordance with Wikipedia's practices and procedures. Therefore, I will not make substantive edits to articles related to NARA as an agency (e.g. National Archives and Records Administration), or its personnel. Instead, if I edit articles, they will be to contribute subject matter expertise, for example to improve articles about NARA holdings (e.g. De Lome Letter, Louisiana Purchase). You can find out more about this project at the National Archives WikiProject. NARA’s work on Wikipedia is being governed by internal guidelines, which we have published on-wiki at our WikiProject.
