I was surprised to find that William Allister of Delta BC is missing from the list of Canadian Artists. He is a noted and successful Impressionist who in recent decades has used the East-Meets-West theme extensively. It helped him come to terms with the horrors he experienced in POW camps in the Far East during WWII and has resulted in spectacular and hauntingly beautiful images. Not being an artist myself, I would recommend referring to him for further details about his art and also for references to his TV appearances and published writing. He has had many successful shows. The latest is planned for Calgary this year. Wrad72 18:21, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
