Martial Universe (Chinese: 武动乾坤) is an upcoming Chinese Xianxia romantic television series based on Tian Can Tu Dou (天蚕土豆)'s best-seller novel of the same name, published in 2011.[1] The television series is directed by Zhang Li, starring Yang Yang, Zhang Tianai, Wu Chun, Wang Likun, Ashton Chen and Suo Xiaokun.
Plot
[edit]Since he was a child, Lin Dong's talents have been undermined by his own tribe. A mysterious stone talisman introduces Lin Dong to the art of cultivation, and he travels across the lands in order to hone his skills. He gets entangled with the various wulin sects, heros of the pungalistic world as well as China's 3 greatest factions; including his once out-of-reach rival Lin Langtian (Wu Chun.
Through sheer grit and determination, Lin Dong eventually becomes one of the most powerful and respected cultivators, gaining the attention of two vastly different women in Ying Huanhuan (Zhang Tianai) and Ling Qingzhu (Wang Likun). As Lin Dong’s powers increase, so does his knowledge of the world’s deadliest secrets. He soon discovers the demon sect’s plot to take over the world, and together with his good friends Lin Yan (Ashton Chen) and Lin Pao (Suo Xiaokun), the three youths join forces with the righteous martial artists to defeat all evil and return peace to the land.

- Despite being regarded as untalented by his clan, Lin Dong is destined for greater things. His family is banished from the Great Lin Clan, and he journeys to avenge for his defenseless father after obtaining a mysterious Stone Talisman.
- Zhang Tianai as Ying Huanhuan
- One of Lin Dong's two wives. Daughter of Dao Sect's leader, and the reincarnation of Ice Lord. She and Lin Dong shares a bickering yet loving relationship.
- Wu Chun as Lin Langtian
- Great Lin Clan's most talented and capable warrior, Lin Dong's biggest rival and frenemy. He was used by the demon sect in their plot to take over the world, which led to his ultimate demise.
- Wang Likun as Ling Qingzhu
- One of Lin Dong's two wives. Nine palace sect's leader, who holds the spirit of the universe. A cold and beautiful woman who aids Lin Dong in his journey to become an accomplished cultivator.
- Ashton Chen as Lin Yan
- Lin Dong's good friend, a honest and loyal man. Belonging to the Tiger Clan, he has a special body, giving him the ability to merge into any bloodline.
- Suo Xiaokun as Lin Pao
- Lin Dong's good friend, a man with devilish charms. Prince of sky marten race.
