The Pick at the Stick is the name given to one of the final plays in a game played between the San Francisco 49ers and the Atlanta Falcons on December 23, 2013. It was the final regular season game played at Candlestick Park before the 49ers' move to Levi's Stadium in 2014.
The Falcons had just scored a touchdown on a 2-yard pass to tight end Tony Gonzalez with 2:09 left in the 4th quarter to cut the 49ers' lead to 27-24. They then recovered the ensuing onside kick and drove to the 49ers' 10-yard line. On 2nd & 1 with 1:30 remaining in the game, quarterback Matt Ryan dropped back and threw a 2-yard pass intended for receiver Harry Douglas. Cornerback Tramaine Brock contended the pass, which then rolled off of Douglas' helmet and into the arms of linebacker NaVorro Bowman, who then carried it 89 yards for a touchdown to seal the victory. With the victory, the 49ers clinched a playoff berth.
