Debre Sina /ብረ ሲና/ is a place located in northern shoa of the Amhara regional state. During the italian invasion of ethiopia in 1928 the italian engineers using the labours of the local drill 800 metter long cave tha helps connect viallges beyond the mountain. This colonel invasion marked the formation of this small town. Is is the main route that connect the northen big cities like mekele ,dessie and wolidia. Hundereds of buses stop on the town to have a lunch. The town is filled with a lot of inns and hotel. Lying on the mountain the geographical view is very interesting entirely occupied with dense woods.
