K-pop K-pop
The article had a lot of Wikiprojects associated with the article. For example: Wikiprojects Companies (C-Class, High-importance) Wikiprojects Korea (C-class, Low-importance) Wikiprojects Record Labels ( C-class, high-importance) The talk section of the full is full of interactions between editors throughout several years, and most of the fuel for these interactions is to discuss the absence of various subjects and ideas missing from a former state of the article. This article is relevant to our class in the sense of S.M. Entertainment being the home to most of the biggest K-pop of present and former artists, and their influence was support by this recording label. Biases in the article seemed to be iron out by the requests found throughout the talk section of the article, and for the most part, this article just outlines the workings of the label, and some of the various issues they have experience from former artists and employees of the company. The article was last edited as of May 27, 2017, but the information feels a little outdated because there is a timeline of the company that only goes to a certain time and stops. For the most part, I believe this an article in supporting the idea and working with S.M. Entertainment as a business and not the influence of K-pop, but gives the importance of explaining the label who put these artists on the global stage.
I was relating the actions of S.M to the ones they took in the article we read for class in week 2.
Week 4: Pertaining to the article on the topic S.M Entertainment I will probably add to the article about influential the company was in the success of South Korean artists on the global scene. I'll use the article we talked about in class by Yasue that discussed the journey of Korean pop. Therefore, I will use the methods and strategies used by the label company in trying to market these artists, and how easy they made the media to be accessed by the use of youtube.

Title of Section: The Importance of S.M. Entertainment on the Korean Wave
The Korean Wave, or Hallyu, that has taken place in East Asia, and the rest of the world has a lot to do with S.M Entertainment. Especially, with the influence, and distribution of K-Pop across multiple platforms. In the early stages of Korean industrialization, the larger companies of the country were spending huge budgets, in the hopes of establishing their name in the global market. This was done in the hopes of destroying barriers consumers may have had because of the sounds and the languages associated with the products. The South Korean music industry has done this successfully the last couple of decades, because of their ability to distribute music in networks like the Internet, Youtube, and through various other streaming services. Also, with the support of the government, these music corporations have received resources to promote their products competitively on the global scene. Another, important aspect of S.M Entertainment's on Hallyu, is found in the way of them creating their artists, and them training and educating these artists in the forms of speaking English and Korean. This done as a way of trying to be globally appealing on the global market. In closing, the ability to form and shape artists to fit the needs of their music genre or niche market, S.M Entertainment has been the leading company in the distribution and the spreading of influence inside of K-Pop.
