Turkish Maritime and Global Strategies Center (Turk MAGS), was initially established by Cihat Yaycı at Bahçeşehir University under the name of BAU DEGS (BAU MAGS) on 22 July 2020[1]. Since 10 July 2021, it continues to perform works independently in the fields of international relations, international law, and maritime under the name of Turk MAGS[2]. The primary purpose of the Turk MAGS is to identify, defend and develop Turkey's rights and interests within the frame of international law[3].
