Kevin Lamont Garland (born September 14, 1990), better known by his stage name Young Savvyy, is an American rapper. He is the founder of E.M.E. Music Entertainment L.L.C. Born in Lynchburg , Virginia, Garland was a band member on the Band Class of Monelison Middle School in Virginia in 2002 and 2005 before he became a producer and a rapper. Before dropping out of high school, he founded E.M.E. Music.

Early life

Young Savvyy was born Kevin Lamont Garland in Lynchburg, Virginia and grew up in the Piney River area of Amherst.[2] While at Monelison Middle School, he played The clarinet in its band class,[3]

He attended Homeschool for a year and then went to Monroe Alternative School. For two years then was force to drop out because he became homeless. But still he kept that music dream alive carrying around a CPU. Then few months later got back on his feet move to his friend Wade's house with him and his mom for 8 months.
