Yuri Vieira dos Santos was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He studied at the Universidade de Brasília - where he attended a course on cinema taught by Nelson Pereira dos Santos - and, after two years being secretary of the writer Hilda Hilst (1930-2004), he works today as a screenwriter and video director. "A Tragicomédia Acadêmica", his first book, was published in 1998 and ESPELHO (Mirror) is his first short film as a director. |
