Beatrice Amongi Lagada is a Ugandan politician and educationist. She was the Woman Member of Parliament (MP) for Oyam District from 2006-2011.[1][2] and was succeeded by Alum Sandra Ogwang Santa. In 1989-1990, she was elected as the first woman Guild President of the Institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo.

She earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Makerere University and a diploma in Education from the National Teachers College Kyambogo[1]. she also has a master of Arts in Education Policy and Planning from Makerere University.
Work Experience[edit]
Beatrice Amongi Lagada is a Non-executive director on the PostBank uganda and serves on the Lira University council as the vice Chairperson[2]. She is also the vice chairperson of Lira University Council[3]
