Pulkit Madan is an Indian computer programmer, designer and business entrepreneur from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1] [2] As a teenager, Madan founded multiple online startup companies, despite being forced to drop out from secondary school due to health issues.[3]

Early Life

After winning an 8th standard multimedia competition, Pulkit Madan became interested in online technology.[4] He first obtained a personal computer at age 14 and soon began coding simple html websites. [5] Due to severe allergies, Madan was forced to drop out from regular secondary school, and began using all of his free time learning and writing code. [6]

Entrepreneurship

At age 16, Pulkit Madan founded Syntexhost, an online web hosting and domain service.[7] He then founded Coffee.io - a real-time collaboration tool for software developers, and Backit.co - a one-click website and database backup solution.[8]

Pulkit Madan is currently the co-founder and CEO of WaferApp - an application based startup that aims to simplify sharing and managing of files between devices. [9]
