Who Am I?

[edit]

I am Zeke Marffy, or that's the name I use for a lot of things, anyway. My actual name is Joe. You may know me from the recurring Marauder Gold meme/joke at Millersville University. I received a BS in Computer Science there in 2018. I love everything technology. I am a very amateur, self-taught producer. Basically, I hack together musical creations in really janky ways.

Keep in Touch

[edit]

You can keep up with tech news and the like I find important by following me on Twitter and read my opinions on obscure games and such on my Tumblr (if you're wary, I use it like WordPress, not the usual criticized way people use Tumblr!).

Interests

[edit]

My main interests include games (mostly Call of Duty: Black Ops III (I am proudly a multiplayer 100 Percenter!), jailbreaking iOS, automating tasks (saying I love programming is an understatement!), and music. You can buy all of my publicly available creations on my BandCamp, although I would never expect anyone to. If you're really that interested, I can hook you up with some free 128 Kbps MP3s of them.

I am a fan of nu metal and Christian Rock music. I attend every concert that time and location permits.

I mess around with graphic design sometimes, too.

Experience

[edit]

I've done quite a bit of interesting things in my lifetime I'm quite proud of, including "breaking" apps such as Yik Yak, FADE: Nothing Lasts Forever, Unseen, and AirCoaster. You can read more about such on my Tumblr I mentioned earlier.

I have experience with Java, C++, Python, BASH, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Python is by far my language of choice. I love webscraping and automation. Some personal projects include a meal and Flex dollars checker for Millersville University, a Call of Duty: WWII and Black Ops 3 stats API, a now-playing on SiriusXM to Spotify playlist, and a secret project that automates a program I will not disclose at the moment. With this secret project came an unofficial API I wrote for the site at hand as well as an API for working with Outlook accounts and emails.
