Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm an editor called Neiltonks. You'll notice that I've reverted (removed) your edit to the National Insurance article. I did this because you added commentary which doesn't belong in the main article.

However, I agree with you that the table of information you commented on isn't helpful! If you feel able, you should be bold and fix the issue with the article yourself, though I understand this can be daunting if you're new here. As an alternative, you could post your comments to the article's talk page and someone else may come along and make the changes. I might even do this myself when I have the time.

Please don't be put off by my reverting of your contribution. Wikipedia is a complicated place and we all make mistakes, especially when we're starting out (though I've been editing here for ten years and there's still an awful lot I don't know about how things work!)

If you plan to stay around, you might consider creating an account. It's quick, easy and free, and it makes it easier to keep track of what you've edited.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page or visit the teahouse, which is an informal place for users, especially new ones, to seek help and advice.

Reverting Ronald Thomas article

[edit]

Hi, I’ve noticed you keep adding back information to the Ronald Thomas (politician) article which has no citation source. Please do not add this back unless you have a reliable source. See the policy at Wikipedia:Verifiability and also note Wikipedia:Edit warring. It’s debatable how relevant the information is to a biography article anyway. The tone doesn’t seem encyclopaedic. If there was a verifiable source, the information could possibly be included, but with less detail. TrottieTrue (talk) 11:32, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted this latest attempt at page blanking. Please stop.--TrottieTrue (talk) 13:15, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm 10mmsocket. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bristol City Council, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 10mmsocket (talk) 15:55, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Hello, I'm JMF. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Statue of Edward Colston, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

The assertion you made is credible but you have not provided any objective evidence (like a newspaper report or City Council minute) that shows that you didn't just decide that it is what must have happened. When you have found the evidence, you can either reinstate the statement giving the evidence as is done in the rest of the article, or leave a message at talk:Statue of Edward Colston asking someone to do it for you.
