July 2007[edit]

Thanks for experimenting with the page St. Francis de Sales High School (Toledo, Ohio) on Wikipedia. Your recent edit appears to have added incorrect information, and has been reverted or removed. All information in the encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable published source. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. You mentioned that Danny Thomas went to St. Francis, which is not possible because Danny would have graduated in the 1930's, and St. Francis came to being in the 1950's. Please get your sources right, particularly when dealing with people. wpktsfs 03:21, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Schoolcruft[edit]

Please review WP:SCHOOLCRUFT. Your edits to Maumee Valley Country Day School are valued, but not totally encyclopedic. --wpktsfs 18:05, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kelly, and thank you for contacting me. I am sorry that I have not responded until now. You mention other schools that describe programs in depth. Wikipedia currently has 1,891,304 articles in the English language alone. Many of those articles could be improved. Moreover, many of those articles can be cut back on as well. Take a look at this difference here. As you can see, with one edit, almost more than half the article was removed. Unfortunately, in this case, many articles will continue to have schoolcruft, even though others suffer. In your case, I requested that another editor clean out Marlborough School (Los Angeles, California) for schoolcruft. Thank you for being understanding of this guideline. As always, if you have any questions, please contact me on my talk page. Wishes, --wpktsfs 20:46, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Please add references to the article, not in the edit summary. To do this, put: <ref>ADD REFERENCE BETWEEN REF TAGS</ref> and put {{Reflist}} under the references section if there is not already one there. That way, everyone can access the reference. Sorry I am pouring everything onto you, but I want to help and make sure you know how things work around here. Cheers, --wpktsfs 18:10, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
