  • Hi, This is my talk page, Please leave messages at the bottom.
  • If you post a message on this page, I'll usually reply on this page to avoid fragmenting the discussion.
  • If I've left you a message on your talk page, I will be watching it, so you're most welcome to reply there rather than here.
  • If your message is in CAPITAL LETTERS, I'll ignore it

Deletion of Teenage Bad Girl.

Forgive me for I'm not well versed in the ways of Wikipedia and generally use it for reference purposes, but I'm trying to figure out why you deleted the page for French Electronic Duo, Teenage Bad Girl.

The is the URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_bad_girl

Here is a snapshot of the page in Google's cache: http://74.125.77.132/search?q=cache:XYjEsTetgdIJ:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_bad_girl+Teenage+Bad+Girl+wikipedia&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2&gl=uk&client=firefox-a

The article was moved to Teenage Bad Girl, where it was deleted by another sysop, I only deleted the dead link to it from Teenage bad girl--Jac16888 (talk) 17:16, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

I think this is not a valid redirect, otherwise we should make a redirect to every page entry in Wikipedia with a ";" symbol at the end... --Againme (talk) 19:13, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, I apologise, I didn't notice the semi-colon at the end. Thanks for telling me--Jac16888 (talk) 19:25, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers. I was tempted to salt it myself after the first time, but I was curious to see how far it would go. --Jac16888 (talk) 20:50, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you want, I can un-salt it for teh lulz... J.delanoygabsadds 20:55, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Its tempting, but probably shouldn't. Besides, I've got this one now, Jac16888 AKA The Wimp--Jac16888

Hi

Ok Jac16888. I understand what you mean. I guess I was too fast. I thought I could help Wikipedia, but thanks for the note. You can delete the admin request. But beaware on the 11th December 2009 I will make another request. LOL :) Thanks Reallikeunreal 16:21, 11 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reallikeunreal (talkcontribs)

I look forward to it. Remember you don't have to be an admin to help Wikipedia, you can be vital without ever needing the tools, admins are really janitors, its out job to clean up the place--Jac16888 (talk) 16:24, 11 December 2008 (UTC)--Jac16888 (talk) 16:24, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, thanks. Its not often admins get told that. If you ever need any help with anything, come find me--Jac16888 (talk) 16:28, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help me, after every edit it says something about autosigned. HELP --Reallikeunreal 17:20, 11 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reallikeunreal (talkcontribs)

Basically, when writing messages on talk pages, you need to sign your posts, similar to how you've been doing, only the proper way is to provide a link to your user page and talk page, which, rather than writing it out, is done by typing ~~~~, alternatively, on the toolbar above the editing box, you can press the sign button, which looks like . If you try and remember to always do this, the bot will stop signing your posts and stop nagging you--Jac16888 (talk) 17:27, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uh huh, but thats how it started. I signed a post with the four squiqqly thingies and then something about a silly bot came up. Im just signing this now and clicking the icon at the top--Reallikeunreal 17:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reallikeunreal (talkcontribs)

That hasn't signed your post, if it had, your username would be linked. Have you done anything to the signature field in your preferences? Basically, the bot is programmed to detect unsigned posts and say who wrote them when, and also, to notify users who keep not signing their posts--Jac16888 (talk) 17:33, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ill check my perferences but I havnet the faintest clue what I am loooking for Do you know spanish Que tal —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reallikeunreal (talkcontribs) 17:36, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In your preferences, next to where it says signature, that box should be empty. If it is, come back and here and do a test in reply to me. Simply copy these 4 tildes, ~~~~, and paste them beneath this message, nothing more. And no, the only Spanish I know is how to say Hello and Cheese--Jac16888 (talk) 17:53, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ok Reallikeunreal (talk) 08:44, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There, works fine, just try and remember to do that after all talk page posts--Jac16888 (talk) 08:59, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
