Hello OnlyNano, I have re-entered my change and cited the Dictionary of Canadian Biography. David Oppenheimer was born Jewish and was buried in a Jewish cemetery. He was the second mayor of Vancouver from 1888 to 1891. I believe this falsifies the claim that George Simon was the first Jewish mayor in Canada.
