Costel Pantilimon[edit]

Hi there I reverted your edit on the Costel Pantilimon page. Pantilimon was on loan at City until December when he signed for the club permanently, this is stated in the article. Both his loan and permanent spells should be noted in the infobox regardless of the fact he didn't leave the club in between making his loan permanent. March 2012[edit]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Walter Pandiani, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.

Please leave loan and permanent spells separate in the infobox. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so we're supposed to get the facts right. I see someone's already mentioned this to you: please stop ignoring these messages. Struway2 (talk) 15:19, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Adel Taarabt, you may be blocked from editing.

Please STOP removing loan spells from footballer infoboxes. Struway2 (talk) 19:29, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Luke Rodgers, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

Please stop removing loan spells from and making inappropriate changes to years contracted in footballer infoboxes. Luke Rodgers left Port Vale in 2009, as sourced prose in the article makes clear, and not in 2008 as you changed it to. Struway2 (talk) 08:32, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Footballer stats[edit]

Hello, and thanks for trying to keep footballer infoboxes up to date. When you do the stats, please will you also update the as-of date, this is the parameter called pcupdate or club-update, and should contain the date/time at which the stats are correct. The easy way to update it is to replace the existing contents with 5 tilde characters ~~~~~, which the software will automatically convert to the current date/time.

If you update player appearances without changing the date to match, you're making the information wrong and making work for others. Thanks, Mentoz86 (talk) 20:32, 28 March 2012 (UTC)

Don't ignore the message above. When you update infobox stats, please also update the "pcupdate" or "club-update" parameter. Mentoz86 (talk) 20:08, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Footballer appearances[edit]

Hello. You recently updated Daniel Braaten's playing stats without changing the as-of dates to match. Please would you go back and add correct as-of dates.

If you don't want to do that, please will you explain why you think it's OK to bring the stats up-to-date without updating the as-of date as well. Thank you. Struway2 (talk) 14:02, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

April 2012[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Mohamed Zidan. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Struway2 (talk) 22:33, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Footballers stats once again.[edit]

Hi there. I can see from your contributions that you are using a lot of time on footballers statistics, both in the infobox and in the statistics sections, would be a pity if all that time was useless? Cause at this point your edits are useless, and me or other editors (some of those that have talked to you further up on this page) will have to clean up after you. But it doesn't need to take much time for you to make your contributions into positive contributions, and I'll try to give you a simple walkthrough:

  • First of, and most important: Don't add unsourced information into any articles. I mean, you have to find the information somewhere, and it's simple to copy that url and put in the text, like this: <ref>url</ref>
  • Second, when you update a statistics table or matches in the infobox remember to update the as-of-date aswell. On Adnan Haidar, for instance, I have fixed this for you the last four times, it's called |pcupdate= or |club-update= in the infobox and you simply put todays date behind the =. The easiest way to do this, is with five thildes (~~~~~)
  • Third and less important: Use the "Show preview" buttom, so that you are certain that the edit you've done looks like you want, so that you don't have to use loads of edits to do a simple thing.

The last one is not demanded, but still recommended. The first two would eventually get you blocked if you don't start to do something about it. Hvis du er norsk, og heller vil at jeg skal forklare på norsk, bare si ifra. Mentoz86 (talk) 13:19, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Do stop refusing to change the as-of date to match the stats[edit]

It's getting boring. I'm quite prepared to keep undoing your edits if you persist, as at Jérémie Aliadière, but it really would be less tedious for both of us if you just updated the pcupdate/club-update parameter to match your update to the stats. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:48, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. Struway2 (talk) 17:28, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

May 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Ivan Klasnić. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 18:35, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and it is supposed to contain facts. It is a fact that Ahmed Abdulla played four league games for Dagenham & Redbridge on loan from West Ham and one game as a permanently contracted Dag & Red player. So that is what we should tell the readers.

By editing the infobox to show Mr Abdulla playing five games as a permanently contracted Dag & Red player, you are giving false information to the readers. Please stop it. Struway2 (talk) 07:49, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Carlos Vela, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please stop inserting false information into footballer infoboxes. Mr Vela did not leave Arsenal in 2011, he left in 2012. He did not make 35 appearances as a permanent Real Sociedad player, he made those appearances while on loan from Arsenal. The readers come to Wikipedia to find out facts, not to find misleading inaccuracies: we report players' careers as they are, not how one particular editor thinks they ought to be. Struway2 (talk) 08:30, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Struway2 have tried to warn you plenty of times, stop changing the informationin the infobox the way it suits you, or you will be blocked. Please stop adding your personal opinion to Wikipedia, this is a encyclopedia and should contain sourced facts. In your recent edits to Vadim Demidov and Vegar Eggen Hedenstad you've changed the years that they played at different clubs. You will not find a single source that says that Demidov played for Rosenborg in 2011, or Sandefjord in 2007. Same goes for Hedenstad - he didn't play for Elverum in 2008, so please stop change this!
