Information icon Hi 12.45.3.251! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Jules Blankfein several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Jules Blankfein, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 22:16, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's his noting an important legacy at Yale and in NYC, USA. Rather obvious. 12.45.3.251 (talk) 01:11, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The disputed content is about his son and grandson's education, which is not relevant to his biography. Not at all obvious. Melcous (talk) 01:15, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The citation from the New York Times provides the impport at Yale and in NYC and to the Jewish world. Perhaps you should read the obit mentione din the foot note. 12.45.3.251 (talk) 01:22, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Kindly remove your tag indicating a lack of citation, it's incorrect. 12.45.3.251 (talk) 01:23, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The citation needed tag was removed by you after you added a source for the unsourced quote. That is entirely appropriate process. Melcous (talk) 05:06, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Removed tag: a NY Times feature obit of a NYC hospital Founder, trustee of one of the oldest medical school in the USA, pillar of the Jewish community and Yale is notbale. Added citation to NYMC trustee. 12.45.3.251 (talk) 16:29, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Added further citation to Yale. 12.45.3.251 (talk) 16:34, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jules Blankfein, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 05:05, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

One obituary and original research on university attendance does not meet WP:GNG, more is needed. Melcous (talk) 05:08, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Added citations to status as New York Medical College Board of Trustees (NYMC records); Vice President of its Alumni Association (NYMC records); and New York City public record of Jules Blankfein as *President* of Physician's Hospital. Are you concerned about the recent increase in Anti-semitism on Wiki, e.g., the deleting of Jewish Bios?
Do you hold the same standards for the bios that you have created, do they all have articles in the New York Times or greater? A founder of a NYC Hospital Founder is sufficient (even by your high standards). 12.45.3.251 (talk) 17:54, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
