Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Henry Parkes. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. You added a random number into the reflist. I notice that you have a history of changing references. Though these two instances could be accidents, you are likely to receive a final warning if you make another edit similar to your first two. Lord Laitinen (talk) 00:06, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kitty Kallen. After reviewing your contributions, it is apparent that these disruptive reference edits you are making are on purpose, as you made them to Kitty Kallen, It's Been a Long, Long Time, Henry Barnes, Ronald Knox, and Walking bus recently, in addition to your earlier edits of the same type. This is considered vandalism on Wikipedia, and failure to stop after the final warning usually results in a loss of editing privileges. Lord Laitinen (talk) 00:10, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

Comment[edit]

Changing {{Reflist}} to {{Reflist|2}} is not, in any way, vandalism. However, the use of that style is now deprecated in favour of, for instance, {{Reflist|30em}} - see Template:Reflist#Columns - because the latter format "is better suited to flexible formatting for a variety of display screen sizes, ranging from mobile phones and tablets to wide-screen "cinema" displays." Hope this convinces you not to continue making that particular change. Ghmyrtle (talk) 12:19, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

Your Comments on User talk:Lord Laitinen[edit]

I do not appreciate your attempt to scold me on my talk page. I never stated anywhere that IP users were a lesser class, and I myself was an IP editor for months before joining Wikipedia. Your edits were controversial and made unnecessary format changes, thus I reverted them. I would have done the same for an IP user or one with a name. What you strongly believe would improve an article, if against consensus and normal format styles, does not matter, and I would suggest that you conform or make requests for such edits. Finally, using quotations marks for emphasis is grammatically incorrect, and I hope you are not doing so in articles, in addition to on my talk page. Condescension and disrespect is not taken lightly by me, and I strongly suggest that you avoid being so bitey and rude on other user's talk pages. Lord Laitinen (talk) 04:21, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
