Signing posts on talk pages[edit]

Hi. Please read WP:TILDE, which explains how postings on talk pages should always be signed with the user's account name (or IP address) and the date/time. The customary way to do this is to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of one's comment. I cleaned up your recent postings on Talk:Barack Obama citizenship conspiracy theories to show who said these comments, and when. — Richwales 19:50, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

June 2013[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Eustace Mullins, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. — alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 04:29, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address,, made test edits on the page Webster Tarpley which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Iryna Harpy (talk) 09:16, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

December 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Eustace Mullins, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —MelbourneStartalk 10:39, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
