User talk:128.135.98.105
Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your amazing contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. CWC 13:11, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Regarding edits to Talulah Riley[edit]
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 128.135.98.105! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bfreewebs\.com\/.+, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links guidelines for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Thanks for edits to Hugh Hewitt[edit]
Thanks for your edits to our article on Hugh Hewitt. I've tweaked the article a little more. Two very small points:
- It's OK to spell out words like "University" and "born".
- The preferred style is to put punctuation before links,[like this], not after[like this]. (I myself disagreed with this at first, but have come to much prefer it.)
Normally, I wouldn't mention such tiny points when welcoming a new editor, but you're clearly a great asset to this project, so I'd like to help you climb the learning curve. (We do realize that it takes a while to understand how everything works around here — after all, it took us long enough. See WP:BITE.)
Again, welcome! (And please do consider registering.) Thanks, CWC 13:11, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
