your edits on the above article are not really constructive b/c they do not follow MEDRSWikipedia:Identifying_reliable_sources_(medicine) for references, please read and then please seek consensus for any deletion/addition in the future, thank you--Ozzie10aaaa (talk) 21:41, 2 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]- per what I indicated above this is the ref that would be a good addition= Atrial fibrillation increases odds of death in a given year by ~1.5 (i.e. increasing from ~1% to ~1.5% for a typical 60 year-old) (Odutayo et al., 2016. Atrial fibrillation and risks of cardiovascular disease, renal disease, and death. systematic review and meta-analysis. BMJ)...however it needs to be entered as a reference as shown below...(the rest of what you had added was neither reviews, or as otherwise stated by MEDRS)

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
- Then click on "templates",
- Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details beside a magnifying glass followed by clicking said button,
We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. --Ozzie10aaaa (talk) 13:16, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
