Today it is reported by the Catholic World Report that Kamala Harris is incorrect in telling people they can be pro-choice and still be true to their religion. This publication quotes far-right extremists to make the point that, all euphemisms removed, it is for them to tell people whether they are true to their Christian religion, and not the government, ignoring the fact that the vice president was clearly leaving such a question up to the individual. This is incredibly one-sided and occurs at the same time that the Catholic World Report is dead silent as Jim Jeffords defends his vote against protecting marriage equality arguing that a state can on its own choose to be bigoted and institute that in ignoring a Constitutional protection. A generation ago, such a mindset would have used that argument against interracial marriage, and not really long before that in defending slavery. My point is the suggested copy addition from me only modified the very opinionated quote before that saying the organization has "an excellent record for accuracy"; if my addition is indeed held to be opinionated and unfair, then clearly that quote must also be removed as it is that copy poster's clear intent to give this publication an unproven reputation based on the random quote of someone who has been shown to be clearly opinionated, despite the same poster's false claim that they should be considered above reproach.
