I noticed you reverted my edit

But a Android ROM being open-source is kind of a fickle issue. Android ROMs are obligated to release the Linux Kernel source under the GPL, while the rest of Android is licensed permissively, which is why I said-- for all Android ROMS-- only the Linux kernel is open sourced. @Randomstaplers: I incorrectly assumed that most of them didn't actually release their kernel sources / changes. I apologize. I've undid the revert but left out:

* CopperheadOS: as they stopped publishing sources since 2019, this was discussed at Talk:CopperheadOS#Source-availability,

* IndusOS: I couldn't find their source. The GitHub organization at github.com/indusos–which I'm not sure it's official–doesn't contain much,

You know, what counts as open-source is also a fickle issue. Is a project's kernel open source by default because the kernel's license follows the open source definition and the licence requires it?
