Ennoblement of Rudolph Henzi

Hello Saippuakauppias,

Thank you for your contributions on the page of Rudolph Henzi.

I am one of his descendant and am currently doing a few researches on his life. In particular, there is this saying in my family that he would have been ennobled by the Tsar for his services at the Tartu university. One of my great-aunt remembers having read a document stating this when she was a child but she cannot recall the context. Would you have encountered a similar information while doing your research?

Excellent, I am also one of his descendants, hence I made the page ☺. I consulted and photographed all documents in the University Library of Tartu and the archive of Tartu. Hence, I have quite some more info. In the book of "Galiffe" on Genevan genealogy, there is something mentioned about it. Let's connect and try to find out more. Many thanks in advance!
